Our first grade classes celebrated International Dot Day today. After reading The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, students created their own masterpiece by using a dot sticker. They created such amazing art pieces by starting with just a dot! They even signed their art work. Such fun!!! #creativekids #artists #OCESrocks

Students in Ms. Amy Burbage’s 2nd grade class have started the school year off strong learning how to develop their growth mindset.  The students have learned to treat their brain as if it is a muscle which requires training in order to grow stronger.  They have learned that mistakes always provide opportunities to grow and that there is enormous power in the things they haven’t accomplished YET! Way to go Ms. Burbage's class!!!
