Good morning, Pocomoke families!
The storm last night knocked our phone system and internet out and we are working on getting that fixed as soon as possible. If you need to communicate with the school, please call the school board at 410-632-5000. They will then call one of our cell phones here at the building. If it is less urgent, you can email MSThompson@worcesterk12.org or DMCrippen@worcesterk12.org.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Good Evening PES Faculty & Staff!
Welcome to a brand-new school year at Pocomoke Elementary! I’m so grateful for the care, energy, and heart you bring to our students and families. Let’s set the tone with a smooth, smiling start tomorrow!
A few reminders:
Report time: Please arrive by 7:30 AM.
Duty stations: Be in position by 7:35 AM so we can greet students and support arrival.
Thank you for being present, prepared, and positive—our kids feel it from the very first moment they walk in. If you need anything in the morning, come find me or shoot me a quick message.
We’ve got this—here’s to a fantastic year!
With appreciation,
Melissa

Good Afternoon PES families!
As you get ready for tomorrow, we’d like to share a quick reminder about our morning drop-off. Arrival runs from 7:35 AM to 7:50 AM each day. Students arriving after 7:50 AM will need to be walked to the main entrance. If you’d like to get out of the car to help your child, please park in a spot rather than stopping in the drop-off line so that we can keep the flow moving safely for everyone.
Thank you for helping us make mornings safe, smooth, and stress-free for all of our students. We appreciate your partnership!

Dear Pre-K3 Families,
We are so excited to welcome our littlest Warriors on their very first day of school tomorrow! To help everyone feel safe and comfortable, Pre-K3 students will start the morning in the cafeteria, where their teachers will be waiting to greet them. From there, teachers will walk with the children to their classrooms.
Thank you for sharing your precious little ones with us—we can’t wait for a wonderful first day together!
💙💛💙💛💙
With joy,
Your Pocomoke Elementary Family
